Cheap and Easy Meals for College Students…They Exist!

It’s 6 p.m. and you hear your stomach rumble.

Uh oh, you’re hungry and now you have to figure out what to make for dinner.

Try as you might, sitting on your coach wishing that a delicious and free meal would magically appear before your eyes does not seem to be effective. As a college student, I know exactly what that feels like. Long gone were the days where I could sit down for a home cooked meal every day, like clockwork, provided by mommy dearest. Since I am now an adult, or at least that is what I am told by my family, I know it is my responsibility to feed myself. However, there are two issues that come to mind:

1)    I am not exactly a chef.

2)    I am not rolling in the cash flow and therefore can’t just order a meal that I know will be delicious.

With these two predicaments, I decided to do my research.

Is it possible, I mean really possible, to find recipes that are not only easy to make, delicious, but wait for it……cheap?

…drum roll please…

The answer is YES! To my awe and joyful surprise, I found a couple of great and delicious meals that are simple and don’t require a bunch of complicated ingredients that no one has heard of. So behold, I present to you some of my favorite findings. Pasta lovers, meat lovers, healthy eaters and even vegetarians! I hope you find something that appeals to you. Your stomach and your wallet will thank you.
